It's disheartening to see how many students these days have completely zero school pride. They don't feel about their school, they don't get involved in programs, and they just seem uninterested. It's like they've lost sight of what it means to be part of a group and support their fellow students. This lack of enthusiasm is detrimental to the entire school environment.

Not My Alma Mater

When I see the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't evoke feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a unfamiliar concept. Maybe because my time there were not like others, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to reflect. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't carry the same significance for me as it does for others.

It's not that I dislike my time at school. It was a period of growth, just not one that feels familiar in the way many people describe.

Perhaps it's because I discovered my passions beyond the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are centered around specific experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.

The society doesn't comprehend that I ooze a different shade. They watch with fear as I show the truth of my being. My life force is a sign of {somethingunique that they can't grasp. They label me as alien, but I am simply unique.

Seriously, school/the whole idea of/that thing they call "school spirit/spirit week/pep rallies" is about as appealing/relevant/interesting to me as a moldy sandwich/root canal/trip to the dentist. I'd rather be practicing my guitar/reading a good book/taking a nap than wearing my school colors and chanting slogans. Just let me learn and be

  • My teachers/My friends/Even my family all think I'm weird/missing out/crazy, but whatever. They can keep their traditions.

My Eyes Are On The Prize (Snacks)

Let's be real, sometimes gathering/ chilling/hanging out with people/ friends/squad is all about the spread/ feast/ bounty! I mean, who can resist a good platter/ selection/ assortment of tasty treats/ goodies/ munchies? It's like a buffet/ an oasis/ the promised land of deliciousness/ yumminess/ pure snacking heaven. Give me chips and dip any day! I totally prioritize/live for/am here for those snacks/ goodies/ bites that make a gathering/ hangout/ party truly unforgettable.
